I've spent 20 years learning one thing: how to make engineering organizations actually work.
Not the theory — the reality. Hiring the first five engineers and building the culture that makes them stay. Putting governance in place without killing velocity. Integrating AI tools so developers get faster, not distracted. Maintaining a $3 billion enterprise software portfolio while simultaneously driving a major acquisition integration.
I started my career building enterprise catalog systems for Daimler, Volkswagen, and Pirelli, then led development of port automation software deployed across major maritime ports in Egypt and the Middle East. I built my own software company from scratch, grew it to 60 people, and delivered the technology behind GrubMarket — now valued at $4.5 billion. At ESW Capital, I managed teams across four continents maintaining their $3 billion enterprise product portfolio. At Moniify — Naguib Sawiris's digital media venture — I built the entire engineering organization from scratch and shipped a CMS, AI content systems, and production LLM/RAG workflows. Most recently, I'm leading fintech delivery aligned with Al Rajhi Bank.
I hold an MBA in International Business and am completing a Doctorate in Business Administration — because I believe the best engineering leaders also think like business leaders.
